David Guetta


David Pierre Guetta (n. 7 de noviembre de 1967, París) más conocido como David Guetta, es un disc jockey de música electrónica y productor discográficofrancés, especializado en música house.
Se inició como tal en varias discotecas durante los 80 y los 90, antes de fundar Gum Productions y lanzar el que sería su primer álbum: Just a little more love en 2001. Años más tarde llegarían Guetta Blaster en 2004, Pop Life en 2007, el exitoso One love en (2009), el cual incluye los sencillos «When love takes over» —junto a Kelly Rowland—, «Sexy Bitch» —junto a Akon e incluido en el top 5 en Estados Unidos— y «Gettin' Over You» —junto a Chris Willis, Fergie y LMFAO—. Estas tres canciones fueron número uno en el Reino Unido. En 2011, Nothing But The Beat lanzado el 29 de agosto en Reino Unido y el 30 del mismo mes en Estados Unidos este nuevo álbum, con un CD extra que contiene solamente música electrónica y finalmente Nothing But The Beat Deluxe Edition que contiene los dos cd's de este último, y uno extra con 10 remixes de sus canciones más populares.

Situación de tuberculosis en el mundo es peor que en años 80, según experto

El panorama actual de la tuberculosis en el mundo es "mucho peor" que cuando se descubrió su causa en los años ochenta y se vaticinó que sería erradicada en el año 2000, advirtió hoy un médico español experto en esta enfermedad.
Ante la conmemoración mañana del Día Mundial de la Tuberculosis,, el doctor Pere Joan Cardona, director de la Unidad de Tuberculosis Experimental del Hospital Germans Trías i Pujol de Badalona, en la región de Cataluña, citó tres factores de riesgo.
Se trata del sida, que multiplica la población susceptible de desarrollar la patología; las cepas multirresistentes y la acumulación de la población mundial en las ciudades, lo que favorece la transmisión.
"Lamentablemente, el arsenal terapéutico y profiláctico es prácticamente el mismo que en los años ochenta", dijo Cardona, uno de los descubridores de la primera vacuna contra la infección tuberculosa latente
El experto apuntó que el incremento de la movilidad a escala global ha provocado que la tuberculosis deje de ser un problema del tercer mundo para convertirse "en una enfermedad habitual en grandes ciudades europeas como Londres, París o Barcelona".
Este hecho, prosiguió, ha de potenciar "su visibilidad y el incremento de recursos para lograr su erradicación".
Aunque el número de casos ha descendido de forma global desde 2006, la cifra de niños que han perdido a sus padres por culpa de la tuberculosis alcanza los 10 millones.
